The whole world is our workplace

Based in Denmark, Orocidin is developing a proprietary first-of-its kind medical treatment (QR-01) designed to treat aggressive periodontitis and improve patients’ oral health – addressing a major unmet need.

Several patent applications have already been submitted, including product use, application forms, and synthesis.

Headquartered north of Copenhagen, our core team leads the company’s strategic, commercial, and administrative functions.

We work closely with a global network of specialized partners – including development and manufacturing organizations, as well as scientific and legal advisors – to advance our drug development program efficiently.

Visions and goals

Orocidin was established by Allan Wehnert whose vision has always been to study and develop novel innovative drugs for diseases for which there is no current treatment options or to improve inadequate current treatments.

Orocidin and periodontitis represent such an opportunity, and where Allan discovered a novel method to solve the problem of the lack of treatment. Until now, all treatments under investigation have focused on the bacterial infection and not the fact that periodontitis is an inflammatory disorder causing the teeth to degrade and worsening the adhesion to gum tissue.

So, a treatment with both antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties is an ideal way to treat periodontitis – highlighting Orocidin’s potential.

In 2024, Orocidin became a wholly owned subsidiary of the publicly traded U.S. life sciences business accelerator and holding company, Nordicus Partners Corporation (OTCQB: NORD).
